Here is a silver- plated, fluted cake stand by James Deakin & Sons and dates to the late 1800s/early 1900s. James Deakin & Sons started in 1871 and existed as a Sheffield manufacturer of silver plate until 1936. This sits on a fixed base and has a decorative shape to the edge. Marked to the base JD&S EP/NS and the Table lamp trademark. R 3069.

CONDITION: Very good. Silver-plate is very good. There are a few knife marks which can be seen only at a certain angle in the light. Overall this is a nice shiny plate.
