VINTAGE EDWARD SHARP & SONS HINGED TIN
Home — Kitchenalia — Storage jars/containers
Dating from the 1950s or thereabouts is this Edward Sharp tin with a double layer hinged lid. Edward Sharp and sons were famous for their toffee tins and this one would have held loads of toffees. It is large enough to hold 20 fairy cakes/ buns and would be useful for this purpose. In lovely shades of pink and bands of gold with a sprig of white blossom reflected in an ornate mirror, this is a fabulous vintage piece. It has a gold-tone interior. Could equally be used for other storage purposes. Marked to the base Made in England by Edward Sharp & Sons Ltd. of Maidstone Kent.
