These commemorative tankards were the first of Frank Throwers designs for Dartington glass and were produced in
limited numbers. Between 1967 and 1992 each year commemorated something different and a large seal was applied
to the body. This one for 1977 commemorates the Silver Jubilee and has an image of the crown and E II R 1977 SILVER JUBILEE on its seal.Very heavy, good quality and great shape. Etched to the base No. 607 1977. Brilliant hanging on display and fabulous to use. We have more commemorative tankards for other years.
