Dating from around the 1980's is this Majolica pottery preserve pot with stand. It is in the shape of a green pepper with a slot for a spoon and a brown stalk to the lid. The base is a raised pattern of pepper plant leaves. This may be more suitable for chutneys or pickles because of the design. Marked to the base PORTUGAL and unclear pottery manufacturers name.
