Dating to the 1950s is this sandwich or serving plate by J & G Meakin. It is in the Night Club design on the Grace / Lyric shape. The shape was brought out in 1957 and the Night Club design in 1959. This has a lovely cream matt glaze with hand-painted pink rose buds. Marked to the base REGD SOL 391413 J& G MEAKIN ENGLAND with the sol design and painters mark.
