Here is an extremely pretty bowl with a white ground and hand painted swirling leaves stems and petals around the outside and on the inside base enclosed by a green and lemon circle. This is a lovely piece of retro British studio pottery from Cinque Ports pottery . The Monastery Rye was opened in1964 although Cinque Ports pottery was established before this. Marked to the base with the circular stamp CINQUE PORTS POTTERY THE MONASTERY RYE.
