1970s SCHEURICH [West Germany]VASE

Here is a large 1970s vase from the West German ceramic manufacturer Scheurich. The cylindrical form with ribbed rim, the colour combination of brown, orange/tan and oatmeal and a stylised moulded floral pattern are so typical of the period. It is reminiscent of many wallpaper designs of the 7o's. A very collectable item and would look great in various home settings. The base moulded 289-27 [denoting the shape and size] W. GERMANY and still has the original diamond shaped paper sticker bearing the words Sheurich Keramic Made in W. Germany.
