GIBSON & SONS BURSLEM EARTHENWARE TEAPOT
Dating to the 1920s is this earthenware teapot by Gibson & Sons. The inside is glazed over the brown clay but the outside has been hand-painted with a pretty blue floral design and outlined in gilt. The handle and spout are black glazed with gilt decoration. Because it is earthenware it is quite robust for making a good cup of tea. Marked to the base GIBSON & SONS BURSLEM ENGLAND REDG No T 833
