1960s CHANCE GLASS SEGMENTED LONG TRAY IN 'ANEMONE' DESIGN BY MICHAEL HARRIS
Home — Afternoon tea/Special occasions — Hors d'oeuvres
Here is a long Hors d'Oeuvres tray, dating from the 1960s-70s, by the renowned glass makers Chance. The glass has been bent in a wavy fashion to create three discreet segments. [Very difficult to capture in photograph]. It bears the 'Anemone' pattern which was one of the colourful floral designs brought out by Michael Harris during the 1960's and has a hand-painted gilt edge. We adore Chance glass and this is a very decorative tray for display as it takes on the background colour of wherever it is placed but it looks even better in use for nibbles/hors d'oeuvres. Fabulous. (We have other glass plates etc. by Chance bearing the 'Anemone' design].
