Here is a straight- sided oven to table dish by Portmeirion Potteries.It could be used for cooked dishes or as a salad bowl. It is in amber-brown and has the Totem pattern designed by Susan Williams-Ellis in 1963. Totem was Portmeirions first major success. It is an unusual embossed design inspired by primitive art and Victorian tiles. This has the embossed mark to the base PORTMEIRION TOTEM SUSAN WILLIAMS-ELLIS STOKE-ON-TRENT MADE IN ENGLANDand OVEN TO TABLE.
